Ask what standard the claim refers to, who verified it, and whether the claim applies to the concentrate, the diluted use solution, the packaging, or the full product lifecycle.

A practical evaluation process for buyers

Determine whether the product will be used for routine cleaning, degreasing, sanitizing, or disinfecting. Then review the label and technical data against the surfaces, soils, equipment, and procedures at the facility.

Record results for cleaning effectiveness, residue, odor, worker acceptance, surface impact, and consumption. A product that performs in a controlled test but requires unrealistic dwell time or repeated rework may not be the right operational choice.

Performance and environmental responsibility can work together

The best eco cleaning programs do not lower sanitation expectations.
